This is a great interview done by Brian Knave for Electronic Musician. Photography by Daniel Dean. It appeared in 1996. A glimpse into my Blue Degrees Digital Studio right after recording When Fortresses Fall.
It's cool revisting this little spot. Charlie was less than a year old when I moved in. Being a stay at home dad, menat frustration trying to do music, and I loved being a dad and actually wanted to spend all my time with ghim, and later Landon, rather than do music. I couldn't do that at home. Charlie was putting oatmeal in the VCR and I was having fun doing it with him.
So I neded to get out of the house. I had more than enough gear taking up in our little house. After a little research I called up John Baccigaluppi who had Enharmonik Studio and also a skate boarding magazine as well as Tape Op. Someone just moved out, so there was a little space for me.
